How to cut your hair if you enjoy sports

By Jess Mors

Though it might be fun to be involved with a sporting activity, many women think of it as a price too high to pay when it comes to managing their hair in the process. This bodes especially true for women with long hair, who constantly have to try keep their hair out of their eyes, making it difficult to concentrate on the game. If this defines you, then there is no need to worry. You can still keep your hair while playing your sport without worrying a bit. Below are some of the best hair cuts for different sports, which are easy to create and manage.

Getting braids

There are many different types of braids, suited for different hair lengths, texture and style. Depending on the type, they can be easy to create and manage. There are three types of braids being basically double, French and mini-braids. The method of braiding is more or less similar depending on the styling and hair type. People who have long to medium sized hair need double braiding. French braids are suited for people with long thick hair. Mini braids are for people who want all their hair away from their face.

Buns

I know what you're thinking, not the princess Leia look! On the other hand, if Buns are done just right, you hair can be fastened just the right way and you can still get a stylish look. If you have long hair, then consider getting a pony tail and wrapping it all up into one section using a hair band. For good measure. Your bun should be secured with another hair band and a bobby pin.

Getting a pony tail.

As ubiquitous as it may seem, these medium length hair styles do a great job at keeping your hair out of your face and is very easy to style. You can either chose to style your hair into a pony tail by braiding it or else using elastic bands to secure your hair. If your hair is too short or your locks wont stay in the band, you can use bobby pins to secure stray sections on the sides of your head. You can also make the use of a headband to ensemble and secure short hair around your head.
