Sonic The Hedgehog's Close Friends

By Allen Weber

Sonic has had many escapades and dangerous near misses. He did not do everything by himself. He had help from some of his best friends. They are ready to help when the time comes.

So who are his buddies? Let's take a glance.

Miles Prower

Tails is Sonic the Hedgehog's first and best friend. Not just that, he also is actually Sonic's partner. When the blue hero is in a pinch, Tails is definitely there to help him out. His best ability is to travel using his twin tails.

Sonic can also benefit from Tails flying capability. Tails can pick up Sonic and raise him to places the Hedgehog would not be able to achieve on his own. As a good friend, Tails is a push over and a tiny bit too emotional when faced with hurdles. But he tries to find strength within and conquer his fears.

While playing the 2D video games, Tails is mostly available as a second player that has an unlimited quantity of lives. An imaginative player will use Tails to destroy doctor Eggman and keep Sonic from danger, since it is game over if he dies.

Amy

Amy's also called Rosy the Rascal. She's the pink self appointed girlfriend of Sonic. Amy always attempts to win over Sonic's heart. She is always pleasant and very funny. She also really loves ice cream.

Her weapon of choice is a big hammer. This hammer is larger than Amy, which makes it interesting. Who'd have believed that she was so strong.

Knuckles who can fly

Knuckles, the red rival, is a great friend of Sonic. Both are very aggressive though. This brings out the very best in both of them. Unlike Tails who is a push over, Knuckles does not back down from anything.

We checked out Sonic's closest friends Tails, Amy, as well as Knuckles. In later 3D games we get introduced to other characters that help Sonic in adventures, like Big the cat and E-102 Gamma.

Sonic needs all the support he can get coming from his friends, because his adventures will get very dangerous. His close friends have his back and in the 3D games they even act as a team.
